Kate's husband, Tom, is affectionately known as "the chai wallah", He does, after all deliver the tea at the end of each yoga class. He also has the big responsibility of stamping the package cards - a hard fought for promotion!

When Tom is not being tea boy for Kate Porter Yoga, he is the Asian Managing Director of a British financial media firm. Tom has built and maintains the KPY website, manages KPY's brand development and helps to manage Kate's yoga holidays.
Whilst he occassionaly joins in the yoga (easy classes only), he is a keen, but hopeless tennis player inflicting his poor racquet skills on long suffering partners each weekend. He is fanatical about single malt whisky and was once involved with a project to build a new distillery on the island of Shetland, north east of Scotland. |
