Kate’s teaching style is a fusion of:
- traditional Hatha;
- Vinysa flow; and
- Iyengar.
Practices are designed to build both strength and flexibility – neither one at the expense of the other. By opening targeted areas of the body Kate strives to create ‘space’ and freedom within the body, which results in the entire body being energised and invigorated.
Kate teaches a range of:
- public classes for beginners;
- public classes for intermediate and advanced students;
- private classes (including private instruction for any level);
- corporate classes; and
- meditation and pranayama.
Even Kate's public classes, held at her private studio on the East Coast of Singapore, are kept small so that each student is given plenty of guidance. Kate believes that yoga is a personal experience and by keeping classes small, she ensures that she can keep an eye on your yoga development.
The majority of classes focus on poses or asanas but Kate is also happy to lead meditation and pranayama classes. Click on the links above to find out more.
